Fighting for the Future: Back-to-School Drive

Recent reductions in back-to-school assistance have increased the need for essential school supplies among Oglala Lakota youth in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. Khan Ohana Foundation and its partner organizations are responding through the 2026 Back-to-School Drive.

The campaign is raising funds to purchase backpacks and supply kits while collecting requested items through Amazon. Every contribution helps students begin the school year equipped, prepared, and ready to learn.

There are two ways to help:

Donate Toward Backpacks and Supply Kits

Make a monetary contribution through Zeffy. Donations will support the purchase of backpacks and essential school supplies, with no platform fees charged to Khan Ohana Foundation.

Purchase and Ship Requested Supplies

Shop the campaign’s Amazon Wish List and have items delivered directly to Pine Ridge. At checkout, select “Khan Ohana Foundation’s Gift Registry Address” as the shipping destination.
