ISLAMIC RELIEF USA’S DAY OF DIGNITY
According to the US Census Bureau, approximately 37.2 million Americans live in poverty.
Day of Dignity, a day of service, is an opportunity for Islamic Relief USA volunteers to provide essential services to communities in need. Interventions include serving hot, nutritious meals, providing essential items such as clothing and hygiene kits, and offering haircuts to those unable to afford them. Often, free medical care and screenings are even offered.
However, it doesn’t end there: The IRUSA Day of Dignity effort extends to social media, as community members share the event with friends and family, highlighting its importance and the significance of humanitarian work.
